Liberty Baptist Church is an independent body in Fort Wayne, Indiana that seeks to line up with the Bible in every area.
Biblical Beliefs
"I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth." Romans 1:16
The Bible says in Malachi 3:6, "I am the LORD, I change not." Though written thousands of years ago, the Word of God and its teachings are still just as current and effective today as they were when first written.
The scriptures are our sole authority for faith and practice, and they have been preserved for us in the King James Version of the Bible.
Biblical Music
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in PSALMS and HYMNS and SPIRITUAL SONGS, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." Colossians 3:16
We are told in the Scriptures that God is musical. God built music into His creatures, first the angels, then man. God’s music is always consistent with His character: order, harmony, peace, balance, beauty, and majesty.
Liberty Baptist Church is entirely separate from the "Contemporary" style of music, which feeds the flesh. Even the "Traditional" style of music has been greatly corrupted throughout the years. We stand unapologetically on Biblical music that is produced in holiness and performed in holiness for God's glory and the edification of the church.
